Well, this is it. I’ve actually reached the last post. When I set out to do something like this, I always imagined that I would give up after a few months. But first, a little bit about my day today (and last night):
I got the bus into Cardiff and once I got to my friend’s house, we almost immediate started drinking. Midway through, we nipped to a Subway to grab something to eat. I...

So, at least I’ve finally managed to get all the achievements on Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. That is, only the ones in the main game. I’ve bought the DLC, but I haven’t played it yet, for reasons that I will go into later.
This last achievement involved collected little orbs that are scattered around the levels. I’d been using a guide online to see which ones I had...

With only 3 days to go, you’d think I’d try and make the final posts of this blog somewhat interesting. Nah, that’s not going to happen. So, what have I done today then? Not a lot.
The only thing I have really done is go to the opticians. I’ve had this strange twitch in my eye that hasn’t gone away for a month. I went to the optician, who told me that it’s just...

The party last night was good fun. I felt a little uncomfortable initially, though I had no idea why. I was just a bit too young to be hanging round with everyone. I was made to bring my Xbox so people could play party games.
The Xbox never got unpacked, because everyone else decided they want to play Just Dance on the Wii. I wasn’t drunk enough to do that, I was just very tired. I...

I had a rough night’s sleep last night. But at least I wasn’t hung over in the morning. My friend left around 10am. Which is when my mum and I also left. I’m currently writing this at my grandparent’s house. I’ve caught up on the last few days of blogs, which I hate falling behind on, but I feel that I can’t give up when I’m this close to the finish line.

My friend arrived at about midday, and we had a chat, and I offered them a drink. Unfortunately, there is very little food in the house, so, aside from crisps and cheestrings, I had nothing to offer them. In the end, for lunch, we went to Greggs.
I miss Greggs, we don’t have one in Farnham, so I don’t get to eat them that often. Though I usually have a ham and cheese pasty, I had a...

I’ve returned to Brecon today. My dad drove me back as he has to go to work today. It’s a bit of a shame that I’m the only one of my friends who seems to be on holiday. I don’t really have anyone to hang around with. Everyone else has exams or hasn’t finished their course yet.
There was a bit of a scare last night when it turned out that I didn’t have a key, as...

When I woke up, I had a bath. I’ve not actually had a bath since I’d been back. I’ve showered, obviously, just, not had a bath. I listened to Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music.
I took the bus into town to meet my friend. I was totally up for going to the pub, but he decided he’d rather stay in and play Xbox. I brought with me that Sega tennis game, and even though my friend...

My dad came to pick me up today, to take me back to his, for the first time this holiday. I assume I’ll probably be there many more times before the holiday is through.
In the morning, before he arrived I spent more time playing Xbox. There’s one particular achievement on Fallout that I’m trying to get before I buy the DLCs for the game, which I do want, but I’m not...

I did manage to get to sleep after a while, but it wasn’t until about 2am. I woke at around 8, and went downstairs, bleary eyed, and went to see what was on telly.
I got a treat when the postman came, as he delivered my copy of Frank Turners ‘England Keep My Bones’. It was also a deluxe edition, which was an added treat. It came in a faux leather case, shaped like a book, with...

Though I haven’t really done much today, that’s no fault of my own. Actually, I lie, it’s totally my fault. I’ve spent most of my time drunk today. Which has been fun. Even if it means me having to make twice the effort to do half the work.
As I fancied a roast dinner, my mum and I decided to go to the pub for a Sunday lunch. Though I wasn’t really that hungry and...

Last night’s gig was certainly fun, even if we only played 4 songs. We went down to the pub where it was being held, and set up and got a couple of drinks in. I say a couple, but by the time we played I was fairly tipsy anyway. Even though we hadn’t rehearsed, we still played well I think, and once we played, we were given free drinks. I suggested that we go for the most expensive one,...

Today is Friday. It’s strange not being able to whinge about my Friday morning lecture, I’ve been coming so accustomed to it, but at least now I’m back at home. It means I get to sleep in. Not that I’ve ever really done that anyway. But who knows, there’s a first time for everything.
So, I’ve spent most of today playing Enslaved again. In fact, I’ve...

Now, it’s time for an ‘I’ve done nothing today’ blog. I woke up around 10ish, and went downstairs to play a bit more Fallout. I was only disturbed by the meter man, who came round to check how much electricity we’ve used. I also had toffee crepes for breakfast, which I nearly managed to burn.
Around midday, I decided to edit the latest episode of the podcast...

Last night’s drinking session was much more enjoyable than the one I had the night before. I was with people I knew, drinking in a place I knew, listening to music I knew. I also managed to make a fool of myself in front of some stranger, but that’s pretty much peripheral, and also a story I don’t want to tell.
I staggered in around 1 am, and managed to collapse on the sofa. The...

Last night was a bit of a mix bag if I’m honest. My head was certainly hurting, but at least I didn’t have to stumble too far to get to the sink and get a drink. We started out in a little pub, then as the night progressed, moved on to a nightclub. I really wanted to enjoy myself, but I was just feeling a bit sickly, and I didn’t really know anyone I was hanging around with. When...

I’ve had a very busy day today. I’ve been busy, but I’m not sure how much I’ll actually have to write about.
We did our usual in the pub quiz last night, we were average. There were 7 of us this time, and we really ought to have done better. I wasn’t particularly much use either.
This morning, we recorded the podcast, though. The university was shut because today is...

We ordered in pizza last night, or at least, we would have done. We made the call and waited for an hour, and when it finally arrived, they had got my order wrong. And they forgot the garlic bread. After a lengthy and shouty phone call, we managed to get a free pizza delivered with my correct toppings. By the time it had arrived, I had already eaten other stuff, so I wasn’t actually hungry.

When we got the train into London, we pretty much headed straight for the venue. We couldn’t find a restaurant nearby, so we sat in the cafe and paid an extortionate amount for a small bottle of cider. It turned out that we were literally sitting above a restaurant. Which was a bit annoying to find out.
Stewart Lee was absolutely fantastic. The guy we were buying tickets from didn’t...

Now it has become customary for me to visit my girlfriend on Fridays, I didn’t confound any expectations, and did exactly that. I got the train after I woke up, and headed to her.
We did what we usually do, which includes (amongst others), eating cheesestrings, having a nap, and watch Psychoville on iplayer.
After this visit, it’s unlikely I’ll be seeing her for about 3 months,...

Well, it’s fairly safe to say that I had a pretty awesome time last night. My initial plan, or at least what I thought the plan would be, would be to watch telly and drink booze in the living room. We decided to go out in Camden instead.
I know Camden has a reputation of being hip and trendy, but I’ve never actually been out on the town in the evening. The first place we went to was...

I suppose this post will be an earlier one than ones I usually do. For starters, it’s being posted on the correct day, and I also mean time-wise. I’m going to visit a friend! In London!
I received a text from them the other day, saying there were down in London for a few weeks and wondered if I wanted to meet up with them. They were one of my good friends at 6th form, and I...

This morning, I mainly played Xbox. I continued playing Enslaved and Fallout. I’m chipping away at the achievements for Fallout, but not doing a brilliant job of it so far. I’m doing it for the fun of it really, rather than persisting because I feel like I have to.
My girlfriend turned up in Farnham in the afternoon. She had to come into the university to take some things out of the...

At last night’s pub quiz, we came 3rd. We would have won, except there was a round which rules stated that if you got a question wrong in the round, you lose all points for that round. And we got it wrong. We cheated a couple of times anyway, so to be fair, we don’t really deserve the win as it is.
After the quiz we did our usual thing and went to McDonalds. There were lots of scary...

As with yesterday, in the afternoon, I went to the pub. My ladyfriend’s friend had gone, and I wanted to watch the football. My team, Wolves, were in a relegation battle with about 5 other teams. All we needed was a draw, and we would stay up. I’ve never been hugely into football, but I was getting very heated and excited whilst watching the game.
This was because I was watching two...

This morning was spent doing very little. I mainly spent most of my time on my laptop, or watching trash TV. Jerry Springer, Maury, Jeremy Kyle, that sort of thing. Those sorts of shows I deliberately watch to get angry, because the presenters are bigger scumbags than any of the guests they have on their shows.
In the afternoon, because we were pretty much not doing anything, we decided to go...

Usually on Friday’s I’m whinging about my Friday morning lecture. Seeing as how I don’t have any more lectures, now that I’ve finished, there’s a Friday morning lecture shaped hole. I’m not too worried about it. It can be filled with sleep, or chocolate biscuits.
Like with the past weekend, I’ve gone to my ladyfriends, however, this morning, I was viewing...

I was woken this morning by my phone going off. I knew we had a house viewing today, but it wasn’t until several hours later. This text however, was telling me to go in 20 minutes. I rushed and managed to shower, dress and brush my teeth in that time, and still beat the person to where I was meant to meet them.
I was fairly annoyed to say the least, but still we got the bus, and went for...

I got up early like I have been doing for the past few days. This isn’t intentional, it just sort of happens. I had enough time to do my usual routine anyway. My friend texted me asking to meet up. We were recording the podcast later on, but he wanted to meet up then, to talk to one of the lecturers. I completely forgot that today was a Wednesday, and we were due a lecture anyway. He later...

I hate writing blogs like this. I hate writing blogs on days where I have done very little, or even nothing. And today is one of those days. I’ve made it fairly clear that I hate doing this blog anyway, but I’m quite happy to say it again.
For those who read the blog every day, which I don’t actually think there are any of you, you will have noticed that I usually don’t...

We did really badly at the quiz last night. We came last. We even got beaten by the really drunk and obnoxious table sitting next to us. They copied our answers, clearly. After the quiz, we did our usual trip to McDonald’s and then went back to Farnham.
This morning, I didn’t do too much. I played a bit of Fallout. Whilst I’m a little bit rusty, it’s coming back to me, and...

I’ve had another really nice day today. Around midday, my girlfriend and I went into Croydon town to have a look around the shops. We were going to go on a location tour of where Peep Show is shot, but forgot to.
Coincidentally, it is our 8 month anniversary today, so we’ll pretend that’s the reason why we’re going out for a meal. My girlfriend treated me to Fallout: New...

Today was a nice day. Well, the evening was. In the day, we pretty much stayed in the house, and watched telly.
My girlfriend suggested that we go out to eat for dinner, and even though I intend to take her out tomorrow, it still seemed like a good idea. She said we should go to Pizza Express, as they had recently launched a starter and main for £10 set menu. I love Pizza Express, so I...

There’s been a big weight lifted off my shoulders today. All my coursework has been handed in. After finishing my essay last night, I spent the evening relaxing and playing Xbox.
I woke up this morning, did the normal routine. I got onto campus about 9.30, printed off my essay, and handed it in. Easy. All that stress for pretty much nothing. We had a 10% leeway either side of the word...

Motivation is an odd thing. Whilst yesterday I struggled to write 700 words in three hours, today I managed to do more than double that in the same amount of time. This also means that I’ve now finished my essay, and all that’s left for me to do is to hand it in, which I will do tomorrow.
My girlfriend came down to visit today, not to visit me, but to sort of stuff out at the uni....

Today my Television coursework was due in. This wasn’t too much of a hassle as I had made sure I sorted everything out yesterday. My 800 word evaluation was fairly easy, and my weekly diary was a pain in the arse, but still, it was all there.
After trying to burn my video files to a DVD, I realised I had fucked it up. So I put them on a CD instead. It doesn’t really matter, as...

I had a good time out last night. We started pre-drinking at a friends house, and thoroughly messed with her facebook profile. We changed her political views and sexuality, made an event inviting everyone to an orgy, and started sending obscene messages to her friends via chat.
We eventually left the house an hour later than we intended to, and got to Guildford. We first went to a Wetherspoons,...

Somehow, with a larger team, we actually did worse at last night’s pub quiz. After drinking large quantities of wine and generally annoying the rest of the people at the pub by becoming noisy, we decided to leave and head to McDonald’s.
I had my usual quarter pounder with cheese meal. One of our party, who was somewhat more lucid than the rest of us decided it would be funny to start...

Do you remember all that work I said that I was going to do? Well, I’ve actually done some of it today! Yeah, it’s strange, I know. I think this is because my first deadline is tomorrow.
Working isn’t the first thing I did today though. After getting up, showered and dressed, I headed into town to buy a copy of The Mirror. As a real journalist, I should hate the tabloids, but at...

I’ve spent another long day with the girlfriend. It’s going to be a long, long wait until I next see her. It’s only was week away, but it’s going to feel a lot longer. We continued our catch up, and spent a long while sat in the garden having a heart to heart.
I did bring my laptop with me to get on with some work, but it became clear the longer that I spent with her, the...

Today’s lecture, my favourite, the friday morning lecture was only meant for people who had finished the essay we are meant to do, and want it looked over. As I’m nowhere near finishing this essay, I decided not to go. The lecture would only be wasted on me anyway, for reasons I just explained.
My plan for today was to go and see the ladyfriend, who is now finally out of hospital. So...

We did much better than I expected at the pub quiz. In fact, my team of 5 came third overall. I call it my team, because I got quite a few questions that nobody else did, so whenever a hard question came, they all looked to me. In fact, we were so proud of our performance, we agreed to return on Sunday, when the top prize was £500. Our team name? Hoof Hearted.
After the quiz, we fancied a...

My head hurt when I woke up this morning. It was a fairly bad hangover. Not the worst one I’ve ever had, but enough that I noticed it and enough for it to put me in a pretty bad mood at the start of the day.
The first action of my day was the TV lecture. As the deadline for TV is further away than the deadline for the other aspects of my course, I decided to focus on doing other things...

Good news! I am no longer in debt. Well, I suppose I am, but the latest payment for my student loan came through today. I immediately set about spending it. This probably isn’t a wise move, but some of these payments have been necessary.
This inlcudes paying £691 for accommodation this term, and £40 on food. Weirdly enough, my food shop came to exactly £40. That’s £40.00, which was...

I feel that I’ve sort of wasted today. I really ought to be getting on with it, but apathy has really rather taken hold.
When I usually spend the day in hospital, I take the first train I can after I woke up, but now my girlfriend has been moved onto a different ward, and they are much stricter with visiting times, especially as they don’t know me as well as the staff on the other...

Arriving at the pub last night was odd. I was surrounded by all these intimidating looking men, who were all shouting at the television. I sat back and spent the night drinking vodka and lemonade.
The plan was to go around the Circle line, but as luck would have it, the Circle line was closed for the weekend. Even though I can’t remember much about last night, I can’t imagine I...

I spent last night on a sofa. I didn’t mind though. It meant that when I woke up I got to watch a bit of telly and play FIFA without disturbinganyone. My brother had a friend staying over last night, and when he woke, I offered to play against him. I beat him 3 times in a row, which was nice. Either it means that I’m quite good at playing FIFA, or I play it too much.
This afternoon,...

I sort of feel like I’m drifting at the moment. That’s not a clever way of saying I’m high. It’s just that right now, I’m neither at home, nor in Farnham. I’m currently staying at my brother’s house in Ashford, in Kent.
We (my mum and I) left Brecon this morning. I got a magazine to read in the car. It was the official Xbox magazine, which cost £5.99. No...

I’ve gotten out of the house today. Which means I’ve done little work. Well, I say little, I really mean none.
My first trip outside was to see a bank manager about trying to change my account over to a student one. I thought I had one, but it turned out I didn’t, hence why I went. I couldn’t get my account changed there, as I didn’t have the proper documents. So I...

I’m really starting to look forward to going back to Farnham. I’ve sort of had this realisation whilst writing this. I almost feel like that’s my home now. Which almost seems to say that I’ve grown up. Not quite.
The first major thing I did this morning was to record episode 6 of the podcast. One of our presenters was away this week, though it was a different one to the...
